Continuing our Always Inspiring More - Recipes!

Today we are featuring a Brazilian Style Carrot Cake from Bianca Franco, Savory Application Technologist, Food & Beverage, Taste Nutrition & Health. Make sure to tag us if you try this sweet dish!

Carrot Cake (Brazilian Style)

Ingredients (Cake)
270 grams of carrots (peeled and sliced)
200 ml of sunflower oil
3 eggs
360 grams of sugar
240 grams of flour
8 grams of baking powder

Ingredients (Brigadeiro Frosting)
295 grams of condensed milk
100 grams of heavy cream
100 grams of chocolate (I prefer to use dark chocolate here)

Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 180C/350 F.
Oil a Bundt cake tin.
Mix the flour and baking powder in a large bowl and set aside.
Put the oil, carrots, eggs and sugar in the blender and beat until smooth. Pour the wet ingredients into a bowl and sift the flour, stirring until smooth.
Pour the batter into the cake tin and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until a clean knife or skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and cool in the tin.

For the Brigadeiro Frosting, put the condensed milk, chocolate and heavy cream in a saucepan.
Bring it to the stove, over medium low heat, stirring constantly.
When it starts boiling, remove from heat and let it cool down.

Remove the cake from the tin. Pour the frosting over the cake.
Feel free to use sprinkles if you like!

Today we are featuring a fantastic pancake from Vanessa Gomes,

Ingredients:
Dough
3 spoons of sour powder
02 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
Salt to taste

Filling
200g of ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove of garlic chopped
Salt to taste

Instructions:
Sauté the meat in a pan with olive oil onion, garlic, salt and reserve

In a ovenproof dish place the flour, eggs, milk and salt, stir until fully mixed, take a ladle of this mixture pour into a frying pan

Fry the dough on both sides, after putting the dough on a plate, put a little of the filling and roll up

Roll up and place in the dish. Decorate as you prefer.
