Symrise AG had a healthy start into the 2025 fiscal year, with organic growth of 4.2% in the first quarter. Reported sales rose 2.0% to €1,317 million (Q1 2024: €1,292 million) supported by the strength of the Group’s diversified, innovation-led portfolio as well as higher volumes across both segments and sustained customer demand.

As we continue to progress our ONE Symrise strategy, we remain focused on creating long-term value through growth, efficiency, and innovation.

Spices with a purpose: by organizing a Spice Bazar, our employees support local communities in Madagascar! 🌶️🌍

At Symrise, we put great emphasis on transparent and impactful sustainable sourcing. Our own teams work directly with farmers 365 days a year in Madagascar. To allow our colleagues to participate in this endeavor, we organize a “Spice Bazar” every year. At this Spice Bazaar, our employees can purchase a variety of high-quality spices grown by our partner farmers in Madagascar. They can chosse from black and green pepper, cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla beans. We use the income generated to support the local communities.

Last year, the funds raised helped provide rice to families affected by the devastating cyclone Gamane. This year, we will use the money to support our network in Madagascar, further empowering partner farmers and their families.

This way, we put sustainable sourcing in action—thank you to everyone who made it possible! 🙌
