Today we feature Yuting Tao, Head of Market & Consumer Insight, APAC Fruit Tarte with Almond Powder recipe!

"The crunch crust boasts an intense baking aroma. I fill it with rich and aromatic mixtures of almond powder and fresh fruit - offering the perfect balance of indulgence and freshness. Light and rich flavors make it a hit any time of year, even in the tropical Singapore!” - Yuting Tao

Ingredients:
Sweet Tarte Paste
• 100g butter
• 65g sugar
• 40g egg
• 1 pinch of salt
• 20g almond powder
• 160g flour

Almond cream
• 70g butter
• 70g sugar
• 70g egg
• 70g almond powder
• 7g corn starch

Instructions:
Sweet Tarte Paste
1. Soften the butter, mix with sugar.
2. Add other ingredients in the order listed, mix until you've achieved an even dough.
3. Put the dough in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
4. After the dough has chilled, roll it out into a round shape of 2-3mm thickness.
5. Gently place the dough into a 22cm round tarte crust ring.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 15-20 minutes, or until the tart crust feels solid & you can be separate it from the ring.

Almond Cream
1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
2. Spread almond cream evenly over crust.
3. Cut your chosen fruits into pieces and arrange them over the almond cream. I suggest using fruits with a high sweetness level - they tend to taste sour after baking.
4. Lay the fruit slices in a clockwise pattern for presentation.
5. Bake the tart in preheated oven at 170°C for 45-50 minutes, or until the surface looks caramelized in color.

Finishing Touches
1. Sprinkle some crushed pistachio pieces on top of the tart. This adds a crunchy texture and pop of color to the tart.
2. Use sugar icing to create an edge around the tart. This will enhance the presentation and also add a touch of sweetness to the tart.
3. Serve and enjoy your beautifully decorated and mouthwatering Fruit Tarte with Almond Powder!

Today we are featuring Kornrawee Xivivadh, Global Regulatory Services & Compliance with her Oat Porridge with Egg and Chicken Ball recipe!

Ingredients:
1 cup of Oats
200 grams of Minced Chicken 🐓
1 Egg 🥚
Chopped Carrots 🥕
Chopped Spring Onions
Seasoning as preferred: (Kornrawee uses: soy sauce, pepper and vinegar)

Instructions:
For the Chicken Ball:
1. Mix minced chicken with the chopped carrots.
2. Make the mixture into the balls.
3. Boil the balls until cooked in a separate pot.

For the Oat Porridge:
1. Put a cup of oats into the boiled water pot.
2. When the porridge is well cooked, add the chicken ball in the same pot.
3. Egg can be cooked separately or cooked together in the porridge pot.
4. Serve the porridge in the bowl, add the chopped spring onions and seasoning as preferred.
